Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 7 September 2026
Our commitment
I want everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to browse this site and use its contact channels independently and comfortably. This is a solo freelance developer's portfolio site — a purely digital service with no physical premises — and it is built and maintained with accessibility in mind.
Conformance target
This site targets conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What has been done
- Semantic HTML structure with a single h1 per page and a logical heading order.
- Full keyboard operability across all interactive elements, with no keyboard traps.
- A "Skip to content" link as the first focusable element on the home page.
- Visible focus indicators on every focusable element.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
- A responsive, zoomable layout that reflows down to small mobile viewports.
- Reduced-motion support: animations are minimized when the operating system requests reduced motion.
- An accessibility menu (the icon in the bottom-left corner of every page) offering text scaling (100%–200%), high contrast, inverted contrast, grayscale, link emphasis, a readable font, increased text spacing, animation stop, a large cursor, and a focus-highlight mode — with a one-click reset.
- Accessibility preferences are saved in the browser and persist between visits.
- This statement, the privacy policy, and the terms are available in both English and Hebrew, switchable at the top of each page.
- The site respects operating-system preferences for reduced motion and increased contrast.
Known limitations
This statement reflects a self-assessment rather than a third-party accessibility audit. Some parts of the site (such as embedded third-party content, e.g. the Medium-hosted writing feed) are outside my direct control and may not fully match this site's accessibility level.
The main content of the site is written in English only; Hebrew is available for the legal and accessibility pages.
Additional known limitations: none identified at time of writing (unverified — to be confirmed).
Reporting an accessibility problem
If you run into an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, I want to know about it. Please reach out on WhatsApp (+972 50-437-6818) and describe: which page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what device, browser, or assistive technology you were using. I'll look into it as soon as I can.
